We are happy to announce that our Internet service running on Bell infrastructure has been fully restored at 7:25 AM this morning. Our technical team have checked and confirmed that all the service components are back to work like normal and Internet services for our customers have been fully restored.
We would like to thank the Bell technical team, who are working along side and around the clock with us. We would like to thank our customers' understanding and cooperation. We are sorry for this inconvenience and we will work to revise and refine our process to prevent any kind of this outage from happening in the future.

Dear valued customers,
First, we are terribly sorry for the outage with our DSL customers.
Second, starting from the day before yesterday, we are moving our customers to other infrastructure, such as Rogers or Cogeco in Ontario and Videotron in Quebec. We are also distributing 4G LTE router as a temporary solution for customers where other infrastructures is not available.
At this time (9:00 AM, Sept 12), we are at the final steps with Bell to reactivate the disconnected circuit. This is a final administrative push and we expect it to happen at any moment.
If you call our office and do not get a hold of us or a call back, please understand that we are either in meeting or on call with Bell representative or we are working on a solution to resume your service as fast as we can. We will call you to arrange a temporary solution, to move you to another network infrastructure or to inform you that the service is resumed to normal.

Rogers Outages:
Currently there are light outages with Rogers systems affecting Cell phone and internet services in GTA. We are not sure about other locations outside GTA.
If you are using Fido and Rogers cell phone, you probably cannot make phone calls to numbers in some other networks. Calling between Rogers and Fido customers are fine for the moment.
Some customer also experience internet service interruption or outage.
We are monitoring this outage and will provide updates when we receive it.

Update:
As of 1:00 AM July 09, 2022, the Rogers cell phone and Internet services are gradually resuming. As a result, we observe that most of (about 95%) HD Telecom's customers using Cable Internet service have their service resumed, while about 5% are still out of service.
We keep monitoring the situation and updates from Rogers and in the morning, we will contact our customers, who still experience cable internet service outage.
Thank you so much Rogers technical team, who works tirelessly around the clock, to fix and resume the service as soon as they can. Thank you so much our customers for your patience. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused by this incident.

Starting from 4 AM this morning July 08, 2022, Rogers is having a nation wide outage with all of their service: Internet, Cell phone, Phone and TV.
HD Telecom's customers using Cable Internet on Rogers network will be affected by this outage.
So, if you are HD Telecom's customers and using Cable Internet in Ontario and is not having Internet service right now, please follow this post and this page for more updates. We will post more updates as we are updated by Rogers.
Our technical team is monitoring the situation closely and will react accordingly to Rogers updates to minimize the down time for our customers.
