Depuis 70 ans, le Club de curling de Ville de Mont-Royal offre, avec l'appui municipal, des installations sportives de qualité où membres et visiteurs peuvent s'adonner à un des sports les plus populaires au Canada. Dans une atmosphère inclusive (programme pour enfants, ligue LGBTQ+, ligue sénior), le Club de curling de Ville de Mont-Royal permet la pratique d'un sport tactique sans violence et accessible à tous.
Le Club est géré par une conseil d'administration formé de bénévoles, assume tous ses frais d'entretien et est en bonne santé financière.
Malgré cela, la Ville de Mont-Royal propose de fermer le club afin de réutiliser ses installations à d'autres fins. L'ajout de nouvelles infrastructures sportives n'a pas à se faire au détriment de celles déjà existantes.
Sauvons le Club de curling de Ville de Mont-Royal afin qu'il continue de contribuer à notre vie communautaire et sportive.

Since 1952, the Town of Mount Royal Curling Club has offered, with municipal support, quality facilities where members and visitors can enjoy one of Canada's most popular sports. In an inclusive atmosphere (children's program, LGBTQ+ league, senior league), the TMR Curling Club provides everyone with the means to practice this tactical, non-violent, and accessible sport.
The Club is managed by a board of directors made up of volunteers, assumes all its maintenance costs, and is in good financial health.
Despite this, the Town of Mount Royal proposes to close the curling club in order to reuse its facilities for other purposes. The addition of new sports infrastructures does not have to be at the expense of the existing ones.
Save the Town of Mount Royal Curling Club so it can continue to contribute to our sports and community life.

2-1 after day 2. Tomorrow’s games are against Team Maurice at 12:00 and Team Vincent Roberge at 7:30 which will close the round robin.

Nous sommes 2-1 après notre deuxième jour. Demain on joue contre les équipes Maurice à 12h00 et Vincent Roberge à 19h30.

We are very pleased with the start of our season so far! During our first tournament, the Indian Summer Equinox held at Glenmore between September 27th and 30th, we had a strong performance beating the likes of Mike Fournier (reigning Quebec Provincial Champions). Ultimately, we fell short of the “A” semi-final by a game lost in an extra.

This past weekend, October 12-14, we played in the Crystal Slam of the Junior Slam Series held in Masson-Angers and Buckingham, Quebec. It was our first time on arena ice as a team and we found it a very rewarding experience. We broke the quarters and our losses came against the first and second-place teams.

Our next tournament is the Ontario Valley Curling Association (OVCA) Superspiel in Ottawa, ON from October 25th to 28th, where we will be representing Quebec.
