Today is April 2nd and the kickoff to a month dedicated to Autism. Many years ago April was known as Autism Awareness Month, and now is often referred to as Autism Acceptance Month or World Autism Month. Whatever you call it, the key is to take inspiration to continue to learn and do more to support Autistic individuals to thrive. One of the ways we do this at CDP is to ensure that we are always learning from and listening to neurodivergent professionals and individuals with lived experience. Some of our staff had the opportunity to do just that with the awesome duo at this year and today we’re sharing their resource on moving from awareness to empowerment. It's available in many languages and can be used as a guide to finding your own personal next step. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1x-blxQ-rd70nzyz5qxWkGflB8q5WubW7
