Camp Candle Co.

How it will look: 

At the end of December, we will be fully shutting down the website. www.campcandleco.ca will lead to a landing page only with a subscription box where if you are not a member of our mailing list yet, you can subscribe to be notified when we re-open. 

All orders in the system currently and received before the end of December will be processed and shipped as usual.

[email protected] will remain active and monitored (not as regularly) if anyone needs to reach me for anything. 

The corporation Camp Candle Co. will remain registered and trademarked as a business so we are good to go when ready to re-open. 

Local pick-up orders in Maple Ridge will only be available until December 2nd as we are moving. All local pick up orders in Maple Ridge must be picked up by this date. A pick up option can be arranged in Port Coquitlam at my husband's shop after this date. 

We will not be restocking any out of stock items on the website. Items only available while supplies last. 

We are no longer accepting any wholesale or specialty orders. 

A post will come out later with holiday shipping cut-off dates.

As many of you are already aware, 2024 has been a really tough year for me and my family. We have had a lot happening within both our personal and professional lives, with the culmination all really coming down within the last five months. Big changes are underfoot, and with those changes comes big decisions that we have had to make as a family. 

After many (many) weeks of careful consideration and contemplation, we have decided as a family that the best course of action at this time is for me to step away from Camp Candle Co. in order to focus on family and our other business full time. We have decided that at the end of the year, we will be closing Camp Candle Co. temporarily. This will include online orders through the website and I will not be present at any markets until we are fully ready to return. We are hoping to be able to bring it back in the future, but at this time I do not have a timeline nor an idea of how that will look. 

This was not an easy decision to make in the slightest. We have toyed over weeks with ways on how we could make it all work. But at the end of the day, I am only human and can only do so much. If I tried to do it all, I feel it would only result in suboptimal performance and customer service on all parts which is not the legacy I want to leave Camp Candle Co. with. I have worked very hard building this business and have tried my best to deliver an exceptional product as well as customer experience. I do not want to tarnish everything I have worked towards and everything you, our loyal customers, have helped us to achieve because I don’t know when to step away. At the end of the day, my family and our collective well-being has always been my top priority and right now they need me in a different capacity. 

I want to truly thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for following Camp Candle Co. on this journey. Your support of our business has meant the world to me and I am eternally grateful for your kindness, support and encouragement. I have said it before and will always stand by this statement; I truly do have the best customers in the world.
