Pottery has given me so much. Sure, there’s the skill-building, the right-brain expansion, the lessons in patience and detachment—all those big, important things.
But the greatest gift? Connection.
Through clay, I’ve met friends, life teachers, and slowly built a sense of community—something I truly longed for after moving to Canada.

This winter, during an open studio, I met Monica. She bought a couple of pieces… and then took the time to photograph them so beautifully. She just got the vibe—simple, intentional, heartfelt.
Then, out of the blue, she sent me these photos. Just because.

It reminded me why I keep showing up, even if selling at markets doesn’t come naturally to me. When someone connects with a piece the way I did while making it, it’s everything.
So here’s to the “customers” who become collaborators, supporters, and beautiful humans in my story.
