1-DAY HANDS ON COURSE - June 24th
If you love the nurturing feel of Indie Head Massage but want a more clinically grounded, lymphatic-focused approach, this course offers a beautiful, scope-aligned alternative for RMTs.
The EluVett Face & Scalp Lymphatic Aromatherapy Course works with the scalp, face (including buccal), head, and neck, using manual lymphatic drainage as the foundation, while gently integrating fascial release, acupoints, cupping, and aromatherapy. The work is slow, precise, and deeply calming - supporting fluid movement, tissue health, and nervous system regulation for both practitioner and patient.
THIS COURSE IS IDEAL IF YOU WANT TO:
• Offer a restorative head + face treatment rooted in MLD
• Work confidently with scalp and facial structures
• Integrate subtle fascial techniques, acupressure, cupping, and aromatherapy
• Bring a quieter, more listening-based quality service into your practice

"I'd like to book a lymphatic treatment for weight loss and water retention."
I get one of these requests pretty regularly. There is a lot on social media about body sculpting and fat loss that is, shall I say, a little misleading.
As I love to teach, and give people the information to make informed decisions on their care, I often reply with email replies to explain what it is I do as a manual lymphatic therapist. I'd like to share one of those emails here, for those that are interested in understanding this a little more:
"Good morning,
Thanks so much for reaching out to inquire about lymphatic work for weight loss and water retention - that’s a really common question, and I’m glad you asked.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) can absolutely help with what many people describe as “water retention.” It works by gently encouraging the movement of lymphatic fluid, which can reduce visible swelling, puffiness, and that heavy or congested feeling in the body. When fluid is moving well, people often notice decreased inflammation and a greater sense of lightness and comfort.
That said, MLD is not a weight loss treatment. It doesn’t reduce body fat, and there isn’t evidence to support it as a method for weight loss. The changes you might see on the scale (if any) are related to fluid shifts ~ not actual tissue or fat loss.
Where MLD does play an important role is in overall health. The lymphatic system is a key part of how your body:
• Clears waste and cellular byproducts
• Supports immune function
• Maintains fluid balance
So while it’s not a weight loss tool, it can be a really supportive therapy for reducing swelling, improving recovery, and helping your system function more efficiently.
If your goal is more along the lines of aesthetic contouring or “body sculpting,” those services are typically offered by aestheticians (often referred to as Brazilian lymphatic drainage) in a spa setting, and they use a different approach and intention than clinical MLD.
If it helps, I’ve outlined the differences here so you can decide what best fits your goals:

If you’d like, I’m happy to chat a bit more about what you’re hoping to achieve and guide you toward the best option for you.
Warmly,
