Alex discovered a fresh sound packed with digital synths and drum machines; electronic dance music would become the sound of his generation. Upon frequenting various electronic music events, Alex’s interest continued to pique and eventually saw him learning the techniques of DJing. Initially, he could be heard playing at friends’ house parties or hosting his own events across London. Passion and dedication resulted in a rapid climb to the top of London’s nightclub circuit. Throughout the past year, Alex has found himself sharing the decks with notable industry names. He made his debut alongside an international artist in September 2016 when he was invited to play a private event with No.19 label boss Nitin. Since then, Alex has landed opening slots for notable acts such as The Neverdogs, Oxia, John Aquaviva, Nathan Barato, Pleasurekraft, Tube + Berger, Mark Knight and many more. His diversity and versatility behind the decks sees Alex blending techno, house, acid and disco to deliver memorable dance floor sets. Alex Hawken has earned his place as a key player among today’s London underground music community!
