Do you remember Mama Hope? She came into care two months ago after giving birth to her litter of 7 in a little dog house in the midst of a cold snap 🥶

She was STARVING. She was FROZEN, shaking immensely. But still her #1 task was to keep those puppies safe. Our hearts broke for her.

Thanks to some awesome people she found a foster home and started on her rehabilitation journey. She cared for 7 chunky puppies who were all recently adopted 🙌 Now it’s her turn!

Hi! My name is Hope, or as fosters call me “Momma, ooo ooo ooo oooooo” - if you sing it like the Queen song, you’ll get it 😊
I came here a couple months ago with 7 brand new babies, I was very scared and starving and very protective of them not knowing this new world around me was safe. Now they’ve grown and all have new families of their own so I guess that means it’s my turn!
A little about me…well I’m fixed so thankfully no more babies! The vets figure I’m about 3 but really I’m just a great big puppy still. I’m still a little shy until I get to know you then I love to play! I’ll need a firm but very gentle and patient new family. We are working on manners (I still like to jump up- seems fun to me) and I will fetch toys, but I don’t really want to give them back to you but I’ll let you chase me with in reason. I am a mouthy girl but don’t worry, I am very gentle ❤️ I am currently learning how to wait for my meals - I already know how to sit with snaps 😁. Snacks are life - just so you know! I love my soft comfy bed and I have a stuffed baby that is well just that - my baby, we love to laze around in the mornings.
I love the water too! 💧 And my water dish is not safe, Nuh uh no way ma’am!! That thing needs to be promptly dumped and taken outside. Always. 🤣
There are resident dogs, cats, horses, llamas, goats and chickens here and they’re interesting but really the only ones i fully trust are the chickens 🐓 But i think the more i get to know the others the more i’m starting to think they might be ok.
Men can be scary to me, however, my foster dad has become one of my favourites. Kids are a little too quick and scary for me, older kids aren’t so bad. So I guess if you have one that wants to play with me and feed me snacks all the time - we could become friends…. Ooh and did I mention - snacks are life??
