Very busy weekend (so far) full of photography, hanging out with friends, great conversations, and lots of exploring. Here’s the first batch of photos from the last couple days, with more soon to follow!

Long winded & cheesy read ahead***

Another day stuck in a hospital and wishing I was out shooting photography (or anywhere else but this, for that matter). Waiting hours on end, hearing the worst sounds from other people, and the stress caused by all the workers here really puts a lot of s**t into perspective.

For me, I’m learning not to take things in life for granted; not worrying about the small things, or things caused out of our control is incredibly tough to overcome. But I’m trying. This week was a huge test for all that. While I have no life threatening issues, the looming overall health of everyone is something that weighs on us in different ways.

While I continue to improve both my physical and mental health, my main focuses in my life are simple: family, friends, pets, music, hobbies, and always knowing that no matter how things may seem, they could be so much worse.

And lastly, what we do with our time & our emotions is incredibly powerful. Do good things, talk with people most important to you in life, and take nothing for granted.

Self-Reflection

Sunday was the perfect day to do take a stroll along the water and throughout the downtown. Blues & greens galore, and tons of fun subject matter to frame.
