Loon making its way along the shoreline, as it hunts for food in the morning mist rising off the water. Name a more beautiful Canadian wilderness sound to wakeup to, I’ll wait.

One of my favourite Mares from a herd of Wild Horses in the Southern Okanagan Region. She was always so curious, calm, and obviously beautiful as well! The youngsters were being rambunctious and pestering her and the others horses, and she would never lose her cool and give them the reaction they wanted, like so many of the other horses were.
