What a great way to end a sunny week. Out in the sun teaching eager new students fall protection and elevated platform operations. These ladies in the TRU women in trades Barriere class were a blast to spend the last two days with.

Had a great class today teaching asbestos awareness, hazard and control with the Marwest team. Definitely far from my favourite class because its so exciting, but I try to always have fun. I told one of the guys I have a great rapport with that the practical portion is eating a chunk of asbestos. I have been really researching and learning a lot more about asbestos and NOPs.

This day is always a big one for me. It is sad that every year so many workers die or get injured just trying to pay their bills and feed their families. So take some time. Have a minute of silence. Tell stories of incidents, lost friends and just as importantly those of survival. Stay safe and if there is anything I can do to help you and your crews keep safe reach out.
