Ps, in October I’ll be starting prenatal + postnatal yoga classes. If you didn’t know I took a 100 hr training for doula, prenatal and postnatal yoga. Complemented with being a new mom I can’t wait to lead these and meet more of this awesome community.

morning meditations 💛🦁♾

rearranged to find a spot to have her rest while I can do yoga, journal, meditate. Although the “morning” usually turns to noon with her, and I’m distracted by her smiles and her peacefully sleeping. Her coos and smiles make me so happy I don’t need other medicine. I got onto my yoga mat to try to do a practice (it’s been months) and was just so enthralled with her, it was me in child’s pose giving her kisses.

For any mamas, how do you get in your self care? How do you incorporate your babe into your well-being practices?

I thought I’d be freaking out about this new journey, worrying about the future and how to handle running a business and bringing a human into the world…

But this guy has really made me feel so supported and reassured, I feel way more relaxed about what’s to come knowing I have him by my side.

Thank you for making space for my many swinging emotions; for buying me all the tubs of ice cream; for taking on 99% of house chores because I’m so fatigued by 5pm; for insisting on doing more so I can focus on .live & rest; for continuing to listen, support, and reassure me. And for joining me in my senior early bed times and no drinking (until Vacay). It’s been so fun watching how excited you are to be a dad, and how amazing you will be at it.

I’m so grateful our little girl with have you there supporting her and making her laugh every step of the way, like you do for me.
