At 8:30 this morning, I officially registered to run for Ward 8 City Councillor.
I grew up in a family that struggled to make ends meet, and I started working young to help out. Later, I served 14 years in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves, helping communities through real crises.
I’m stepping forward because too many people feel like things just aren’t working, whether it’s safety, affordability, or trust in City Hall.
I’m not a career politician. I’m focused on practical solutions and putting our community first.
IT’S TIME.
BUILD HAMILTON BETTER.

Strong communities are built by people who step up and get involved.
Our Hamilton Mountain Conservative board met this week to plan the work ahead — connecting with residents, supporting our community, and building a stronger local movement.
I’m grateful to serve as President alongside a team committed to doing the work and moving our community forward. 🇨🇦
Leadership in action.
Our Hamilton Mountain EDA Board met last night to plan upcoming initiatives, events, and ways to connect with our community.
We’re excited about the work ahead and grateful for a dedicated team committed to serving Hamilton Mountain. 🇨🇦

🎅Christmas at Hamilton Out of the Cold ⛪
There’s nowhere I’d rather be during the Christmas season than here, surrounded by smiles, good people, and a sense of community that warms the heart.
Volunteering at during the Christmas season feels extra special. It’s about more than a hot meal; it’s about showing up, sharing stories, and reminding each other that no one is alone.

We Remember.
This morning, I had the honour of speaking at the St. George Remembrance Day Service on behalf of and the Government of Canada.
For me, Remembrance Day isn’t just about history—it’s about people I knew. I’ve buried brothers I served beside. Men who joked with me one day and were gone the next. That stays with you.
It’s been 11 years since we lost Cpl. Nathan Cirillo. I was part of the honour guard at his funeral. I can still remember standing there, the sound of the pipes, and the silence that followed. It’s something you never forget.
We honour them by remembering who they were—and by living the kind of lives they fought to protect.
Lest We Forget.

This morning at Gore Park, I joined the Garrison Parade to honour the brave men and women—past and present—who have served Canada with courage and dignity.
As a retired member of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, standing with my old regiment and the Hamilton Garrison was deeply personal. Remembrance Day service is more than tradition—it’s a solemn reminder of the cost of freedom, and the duty we all share to build a country that is worthy of those sacrifices.
To every veteran, to every family who carries their memory, thank you. You will never be forgotten.

Great to see Pierre Poilievre here in Hamilton today. His leadership—lowering costs, building homes, fixing the budget, and making our communities safer—connects directly with the challenges families in Hamilton are facing every day.

Spent the morning with meeting business owners in Ward 8. On our way out, we came across a gentleman who had fallen — and right away, Asuf was there to help him up.
That’s just who he is. He leads with kindness, never walks past someone in need, and always puts people first. I’m proud to stand with him as he works to make Hamilton safer, fairer, and stronger.

A great turnout today as at the dedication of the ‘s Spitfire in its new markings to Squadron Leader Thomas DeCourcy, DFC.
It was an honour to stand with others in remembering a man who served with courage and distinction. S/L DeCourcy’s story is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made for our freedom—and why we must never take it for granted.
Proud to have been part of today’s tribute.
