Introducing Jake Chisholm as Walter Hubbell

Walter Hubbell was an American actor who was in Halifax performing with a theatre company when he first heard about the strange happenings surrounding Esther Cox. Curious and skeptical, he travelled to Amherst intending to expose the story. Instead, Hubbell claimed to witness unexplained disturbances firsthand. He went on to document the events in his book, The Great Amherst Mystery, becoming one of the main public recorders of the case and helping turn the local haunting into an international sensation.
