Thursday, August 1st, at 70 Crane Lake Dr, Beechville, we have a special opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of women and children in need!🏠🏠

From 9am to 3pm, come on down and get your car washed🚗💦 while meeting and greeting Deep Down Staff, Q104 Summer Crew and have a delicious hot dog🌭😋- all for a minimum donation of $10!

Supporting this event for Adsum for Women & Children will help Adsum continue to offer emergency shelter, housing, programs, and vital services to those seeking housing support.

Adsum houses 92 people in one of our permanent and affordable locations across HRM, 365 days a year, including the 25 apartments in our newly opened Sunflower in Lakeside. Adsum house and provide programs and services to hundreds more women and children in independent apartments and hotels through the Shelter Diversion and Housing Support teams.

Adsum and Welcome Housing are now also, providing shelter rooms and support services to 1905 people in The Bridge (formerly DoubleTree Hotel) in partnership with Dept. of Community Services and Dept. of Health.

While we keep all this going, we are continuing to work to create permanent solutions. We know that secure housing is the answer.
