Ash Does Food
We went to ππ΅π π΅ππ and the turnout was insane! The lines were long and booths sold out only a couple hours in, BUT I have a feeling they didn't expect such a populated turnout! We started waiting in line around 3:50PM and got in after 40 min. It was a beautiful day and we had lots to yap about, so the wait wasn't terrible.
Once we got in, I was low-key sad to see most of the ube treats and drinks were sold out so early (there was still 3 hours to go lol). However, we still had an amazing time! We watched some performances, scoped out some local businesses, made a super cute custom key chain, and then spent a lot of time waiting for food!
We decided to be wise and stand at separate food lines. I got a jar of ube jam, some ube cookies, an ube latte, an ube matcha, and after Katharine waited in line for about an 1 hr 15 min at the main food truck, we got chicken skin with vinegar and a beef empanada! Overall, everything was delicious, but I found the ube cookies too sweet.
I hope they do Ube Fest next year! It was such a success, it can only get better ππ½ππ½ππ½
