🚨 EXCLUSIVE: FORMER DIRECTOR SOUNDED THE ALARM 🚨
"What happens when today's decisions become tomorrow's precedent?"
A former board director of Markaz Ul Islam Fort McMurray says he privately raised concerns and later brought questions to an AGM regarding contracts and potential conflicts of interest.
According to the former director, he warned that if proper safeguards were not in place, future groups could potentially gain control of memberships, become board members, and then influence how contracts are awarded.
The question he says he asked was simple:
❓ Should board members, Shura members, or individuals connected to decision-makers be receiving organizational contracts?
According to the former director, the response given at the time was that legal advice indicated the arrangements were permissible.
Now Alberta Today is asking:
📢 If such a legal opinion exists, will Markaz Ul Islam Fort McMurray release it to the community?
Transparency protects organizations.Transparency protects donors.Transparency protects members.
Mr. Abdul Ghani, you are welcome to provide the legal opinion or lawyer's letter at that time and meeting minutes of board meeting privately through Facebook Messenger. Alberta Today is prepared to publish your response in full so the public can hear every side of the story.
⚠️ Alberta Today is reporting concerns raised by a former director and is inviting all parties to respond.

🚨 ALBERTA TODAY | MIXED MESSAGES OR POLITICAL STRATEGY? 🚨
How can Albertans trust a government when the message seems to change every day?
One day it’s about protecting Alberta. The next day it’s about staying in Canada. Then it’s about a referendum. Then it’s not. Then it is again.
Critics say Premier Danielle Smith keeps changing her message depending on the audience, leaving many Albertans confused about what the government’s real plan actually is.
Albertans deserve clear leadership, clear answers, and a clear direction—not political messaging that changes from one interview to the next.
What do you think? Is this strong leadership, or are Albertans getting mixed messages?
