First off, I would like to say I’m really excited to showcase this project! Those details!
This townhome building is created to appreciate the historic characteristics of Glenora with considerations to the culture, population and history.
Yesterday I attended the council meeting for the rezoning of my lot to allow for a development like this to take place. My application was put on hold due to the Glenora heritage area rezoning plan. Who knows about this plan? If this Heritage plan passes, it would mean row housing like mine or skinny houses would be prohibited. This would directly impact residents of Glenora who would like to develop on their lots and for developers who can bring affordable housing options and contribute to our growing population. Ive attended public hearings in the past but yesterday’s attendance caught me off guard. Being a member of the Glenora community, I thought I would add value to the area. We took many considerations to the details of the building to compliment Glenora and I’m hoping my application for the RF3 Zoning is approved.
