What makes a place beautiful?
If it makes us feel safe. If it makes us feel loved. If we can sink into it. If we miss it when it’s gone. Beauty isn’t just a place, it’s a time, a memory, a Sunday morning, a Wednesday evening, a last hug before bed, the first light of morning.

You might be tempted to think that Housestories is about photographing homes, and you’d be partially right. You might also be tempted to think that Housestories is about photographing families, and you’d be even more right. Mostly however, Housestories is about capturing the things that are here today, but won’t be here tomorrow - the quiet moments that live in our everyday, the little things we love but probably take for granted, the things we’ll someday miss, the things that seem to go by all too quickly.
