Ever wonder what the difference in categories of network cables meant?
Basically, Cat 5e, which is commonly found in most newer homes, is ok for home networks where you might have a 1080p smart tv or two, computers, basic gaming consoles, etc.
However with 4K devices on the rise, and 4K streaming being more and more in demand, as well as more affordable super speed internet connections becoming available through internet service providers, Cat 6 would actually be a much better option, as the speed and bandwidth needed push the limits of standard Cat 5e lines.
