I had to make the tough decision to throw in the towel in the third round of Prince’s fight. Prince fought with courage, and he came out with an aggressive and strong start but his opponent was starting to make great use of the clinch in the later rounds, and looking to set up some dangerous shots on the exits. I’m sure Prince is a little upset that I did what I did but I love the kid, and it’s my responsibility to make sure he comes home safe. Regardless, I’m proud of how he fought — with tenacity and guts.⁣

I’d always joke about how there’s no way in hell he’d ever fight a 6’4’’ bantamweight and of course he makes his Muay Thai debut against exactly that. That’s a tall order — 😬, and definetly not an easy matchup to prepare for BUT that’s what this s**t is about, seeking challenges. I’m proud of Prince, and I know he will rise again 👊🏾. Congratulations to his opponent, and thanks for allowing these athletes the chance to compete and test themselves.
