As another Hot Lunch season soon comes to a close, we want to extend a massive thank you to the top-notch volunteer team — our ‘regulars’ — that makes this program entirely possible for our kiddos! ✨💛🐝
There is a massive amount of coordination that goes on behind the scenes for every hot lunch & treat day — vendor coordination, MunchaLunch backend set up, supplier orders & payments, parent communication, volunteer coordination, bin set up/take down, fresh bakery pick ups — to name a few!
But as our volunteer team knows well, as soon as those bins are placed in the classrooms and the students’ faces light up with squeals and a chorus of thank-yous: we know it’s all worth it! ✨

Have you thanked a volunteer this week?
We're coming to the end of National Volunteer week. We want to take a moment to thank all the parents and caregivers who help out through the school year, be it through driving for field trips, at PAC events, hot lunch, treat days, coming into the class to read with students, bring in chicks for the Ks to visit with, the PAC executives etc,
Thank you to Holly staff who spend their free time with the students for Cross Country, volleyball, basketball, and track and field and thank you to our amazing community members: Mr. McCabe, Terry and Andy to name a few!!
Many of our students participate in extracurricular sports- and those organizations wouldn't exist (especially in the capacities they currently do) without parent volunteer coaches, team managers, and sport organization board members. Thank you volunteers! You make a massive difference to our school, you have an impact on the students in and out of the school, and without you we cannot hold events (like the upcoming Spring Pop-Up).

Reminder that tree saplings are heading home today. If you do not want or cannot take the tree, please let your child know as well as their classroom teacher. We will be able to find suitable homes for the trees.
If you have young children, please save the tears and let them know they aren't bringing home a tree.

There has been an increase in kids needing cutlery for their lunches. Some of the cutlery (regular metal flatware) has not made it back to the school.
Please pack cutlery for your kids' lunches.
The school will happily accept donations of flatware and disposable cutlery (take-out leftovers!?).
