Trooper’s story is a heartbreaking one. This small terrier mix came to the shelter as a tiny pup with his three siblings. While they’ve gone on, Trooper is still here, still searching for a family of his own.
While small in size, Trooper’s heart is full of love – he just needs the right person to help him feel safe. Trooper can be shy and unsure around new people and would do best in a low traffic, adult female home.
Behind the fear is a gentle boy who just wants to be loved – if only someone will give him a chance. At almost 2 years old, Trooper is ready to start his life.
