Day 10! The Conversation Everyone Can Do Without

The holiday parties, the friends and family get togethers.. We tend to be catching up with people for what feels like the first time in the year. This means having repetitive conversations often about things we may prefer not to discuss even once.

Plan ahead for this one. We all have an idea what this story may be and certainly after the first gathering or two can see the pattern happening.

Day 9! The Overwhelming Amount of Things to Do Before Year End

I absolutely LOVE the holiday season. The decorating, shopping, snow, lights, cheesy Christmas movies, all of it! But year after year, I feel like there is a balance of trying to enjoy it and the heavy weight of my ‘to do’ list.

I don’t mean to over simplify this, it is incredibly stressful. However, one of the best ways to manage this is to be self reflective and present in the moment. Whatever you are doing, be fully there. Anticipatory stress (stress where you are thinking of what lies ahead) is experienced both more profoundly and for longer periods of time.
