From concept to completion, our team provided the expert plans for this stunning structural roofline renovation, exterior refresh, and board & batten siding upgrade, while the homeowners handled the build.
A crucial reminder: even when undertaking a DIY project, a building permit is still required to ensure compliance with city regulations and guarantee a safe, successful outcome.

Big upgrade to this split-entry! We capped the existing newel posts, removed the dated wood spindles and infilled with custom welded steel pickets for a clean, modern look that ties into the new floors and trim. Love how open this stairwell feels now.

Just finished a property search at the City of Cambridge and was able to get my hands on the original hand-drawn plans of this house. ✍️📐
Pretty amazing to see the craftsmanship and detail that went into these drawings, before computers, this is how every home started. 🏡✨

🔙 Throwback to one of my past projects – a custom set of horizontal handrails, featuring one straight run and one curved section.

I had my hands in the design and fabrication, and it’s one I still keep in my portfolio as an example of blending function with clean, modern design. The curved rail in particular pushed my skills and showcased the precision that goes into custom metalwork.
