Starting May 11th, our drop-in centre in Medicine Hat will be closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays, to accommodate a return to street-level outreach during the warmer months.
We will still serve people by appointments.

U=U (Undetectable = Untransmittable) is more than a scientific breakthrough - it’s a powerful message of hope, dignity, and empowerment. Evidence shows that people living with HIV who are on effective treatment and maintain an undetectable viral load cannot pass HIV to their sexual partners. This not only transforms prevention - it helps dismantle stigma and supports healthier, more inclusive communities.

At SafeLink Alberta, U=U is part of a broader commitment to harm reduction, education, and accessible, non-judgmental support for individuals and communities across Alberta.
