I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately because I was studying for the PMP exam. Good news is…I passed! 🎉 Super relieved to have that behind me. Now that my brain isn’t completely filled with project management stuff, I’ll be back to posting more teddy bears soon. Stay tuned! 😁

🐻 𝐈𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲. Eve was a lovely woman who welcomed me into her family with open arms. I appreciated her greatly and told my friend I’d make his family some memory teddy bears.

It was my way of showing how much I valued her and wanted them to hold a tangible memory of her. I remember dropping off the teddy bears at my friend's place and seeing the emotion in their eyes. I loved being able to offer them something that brought comfort and kept her memory close. ❤️

🐻 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐌𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧

In 2019, my grandpa's cancer worsened, and chemotherapy was no longer an option. Living in Canada since 2014, I knew my time with him was limited.

𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫, 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬.

✈️ In 2020, I returned to Peru and, due to the pandemic, stayed for four months—a blessing that allowed me to spend precious time with my grandpa before he passed away.

🧸 After he passed, I made a teddy bear from one of his pyjamas to honour him.
