Thanks to our volunteers and the generous spirit of the community, we have managed to donate to over 40 Compassionate Food Access Agencies in Calgary, with 95% of our recipients being women and children. Join us at Seedy Saturday this upcoming weekend on March 21 from 10am-3pm 🌱 We will have heirloom veggie and flower seeds for sale that have been harvested locally from one of our volunteer’s. All proceeds will go to Grow Calgary!

We are in search of a volunteer grant writer! Join our team to help us acquire funding to support our operations and growth 🌱 Every year, we produce hundreds of pounds of food for local food access programs and we want to increase our capacity.
Tasks & Requirements:
- Search for eligible grants and submit proposals
- Complete post-grant reporting
- Experience with grant/proposal writing is an asset
Interest in supporting the community, food insecurity, local food production, and/or the environment
- Time commitment: 8-12 hours per month
- All work can be done virtually/WFH
