Canada Post Service Alerts: Red delivery service alert issued for Merritt, B.C. Yellow delivery service alert issued for Western Canada.
Canada Post has issued today a red delivery service alert for Merritt, B.C, as weather conditions from flooding have made it unsafe. The safety of our employees is our number one priority. A red service alert means that we are suspending delivery and not sending out our delivery agents. Delivery will resume once conditions improve and it’s safe to do so.
Canada Post also issued a yellow delivery service alert for Western Canada. Due to adverse weather conditions including flooding, rockslides and mudslides in B.C., there are multiple road closures affecting transportation of mail and parcels across Western Canada. Customers may experience some delays in receiving items.
