Rocky Mountain Animal Rescue
Dog Behaviour Rehab Specialist rescues dogs never handled along with help from volunteer foster team. Focusing on rescuing homeless dogs and cats from harsh environments and overcrowded shelters, rehabilitate them and match to adopter's and pets needs. We also try our best to educate about animal welfare, dog behaviour and dog psychology.
Well said, yesterday's author of Every Dog Matters, put in a lot thought to put into words. We often have to deal with this as well, yet for the sake of dogs needing help, being there is never enough help given how many dogs are homeless, neglected, and or suffering, we all persevere through this very thing. It's hurtful, uncalled for, and does not benefit helping dogs, cats, puppies, all needing human help, humans that Should be collaborating, not dissing, slandering and criticizing. We thank Reed too for going beyond that extra mile. He is truly one in a million and deserves respect, not criticism. Deserves help, not put downs. Deservers emotional support, not excuses. Deserves our upmost, profound, thanks for doing what no one else does. And why? One good reason: Every dog matters.
We stand with Reed Salmon and Every Dog Matters, Alberta. They work endless hours, taking their personal time, no one pays them to do this, they drive for hours, early, late, to harsh, freezing, often depraved environments where homeless and/or neglected dogs and puppies are hugely suffering, often frozen to death or hit by cars, to try and get them out to prevent them from further suffering and ultimately, die a very sad, painful, lonely, death. Anyone criticizing Reed, Every Dog Matters, and other rescue groups like ourselves doing our utmost best to save, collaborate, and do the right thing, it's with pondering, exactly what have these keyboard warriors, criticizers done to help. A few dogs helped here and there, but who really puts in this type of effort, time, exhaustion, personal resources and a huge amount of energy both physical and emotional, just what have you done, even remotely similar, to help dogs and puppies that are bred to no one to help them, and leave them to grow up if they do, suffering along the way, and forced to have a litter puppies at adolescence, not able to care for the puppies born to them?
At that point, when the dogs are found, another entire desperate need is necessary to vet, foster, train dogs never been in a home, find people we can trust to take them in while us rescuers in the background, work around the clock with whatever resources that can be found to get help, since one person cannot do this alone. It's takes many to save just one. Just like Every Dog Matters name, it says it all right there.

Sharing with you a lost cat, and found by owner, who called its name. The cat when realized who it was, ran and jumped into owner's arms. Cats aren't dogs, and not supposed to be. They are felines. And they have feelings like dogs, and needs, and full of love. A different type of pet, but absolutely wonderful to share your home with.
