Nice to find my dyno picture stolen and used in another website that sells used dynos.

Another example of (2011) STi with upgraded fuel pump (in OEM pump holder/basket) losing fuel pressure at high RPM. At 20psi fuel pressure started to roll off and as RPM climbs, the pressure drops more rapidly.

With the fuel pressure sensor wired in, the ECU was able to "see" this happening and try to compensate by increasing the injector pulsewidth. I use "try" because the compenstion will only work until the fuel flow (L/hr) reaches its limit. The flow limit depends on how bad the leak is inside the fuel pump holder. The compensation is meant to serve as early warning rather then a "fix".

This highlights the important role that the pump basket plays in the fuel system. It is more than just adding fuel pump and injectors when it comes to adding fuel capacity.

Hmm that is not a Japanese import. The "shop car" from (2013 ML63 AMG) getting some custom tuning done. Stock other than drop-in filters.

271,000km on the odometer of my 06WRX...perfect time switch out the 750cc injectors with some ID1050x, add Ethanol Content Sensor and go Flex-Fuel.
