It’s a good time to clear space this fall!

It's that time of year... (and we're not talking about Christmas. Way too soon for that.)

HIG is a service provided alongside your curbside waste collection service, taking place on the 3rd week of April and September. If you pay the residential garbage charge on your Town of Strathmore utility bill, the HIG service is available to you. There is no fee associated with the tags. Keep in mind that households are limited to 5 items per collection.

Trash to Treasure: September 11 to 14, 2025
Heavy Item Garbage: September 15 to 19, 2025

The last day to pick up HIG tags is September 12, 2025. All items must be placed out by 7 a.m. on September 15, 2025 to ensure your items are picked up. Tags can be picked up at Town Hall and the Strathmore Library.
