Hey, neighbour!

Join me on Neighbour Day across Ward 4 at these community events. I can't wait to listen to your thoughts, and celebrate together the spirit of community. For more details on all of the events across Calgary see calgary.ca/neighbourday.

Hey, neighbour!

Today myself and my Ward 4 team took a visit to the Calgary Wildlife Rehabilitation Society to learn more about their efforts to rehabilitate sick or injured wildlife. Whether it's cranes at our city's wetlands, pelicans on the Bow River, or the skunks, porcupines, fawns, and yes even squirrels, Calgary Wildlife is doing good work to get these animals back into the wild. I am also pleased that their partnership with the City of Calgary Parks and Open Spaces has been able to support their valuable work, keeping our parks vibrant with fauna to go along with the flora.

Hey, neighbour!

Stampede season is almost upon us, but I'm so glad I got to join the Edgemont Community Association over the past weekend to get in the spirit with their Stampede breakfast. It was great to share in the century tradition of pancake breakfasts in Calgary, and connect with Ward 4 neighbours.

Hey, neighbour!

There’s still time to get rid of your spring cleaning that has been piling up at the Dalhousie Community Cleanup. On until 2 p.m.

06/12/2026

The Dalhousie Community Association Community Cleanup is this Sunday. I'll be volunteering and I hope to see you there - especially if you have some household waste to be rid of!

Dalhousie Community Cleanup is this Sunday, June 14 from 9am-2pm.

Got old furniture, broken electronics, unwanted household items, scrap metal, papers to shred, or bikes collecting dust? Bring them to the Dalhousie Community Cleanup & Electronic Recycling Roundup and responsibly get rid of items you no longer need.

This is your chance to clean out the garage, basement, storage room, or shed in one convenient stop.

Accepted services include:
• Household waste drop-off
• Electronics recycling
• Metal recycling
• Secure paper shredding ($15/box, max 3 boxes)
• Clothing and household donations
• Used and broken bike donations for local youth

Date: Sunday, June 14, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (line closes at 1:40 PM)
Location: East side of the Dalhousie Canadian Tire parking lot
5404 Dalton Road NW
