🚨A tongue tie diagnosis is a FUNCTIONAL one.

This means the person assessing your baby should perform a full, comprehensive evaluation—not just a quick look under the tongue.

If you're having difficulties and suspect a tongue tie, and your provider just takes a quick look and says, "Nope, they're not tied!" or "It's just a slight tie," get another opinion from someone with advanced education and experience in tongue ties.
