BOOKKEEPER WANTED

Our office is located in Didsbury, Alberta. We have many companies of which most are small or minimal to keep track of. We are looking for someone with 2-4 years of experience in accounting / bookkeeping to commence work as soon as possible. The position is part time or contract position and will involve approximately 20 - 24 hours per week. Hourly rate will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements will also be required of the successful candidate upon acceptance of the position.

*Bookkeeping
* Reconcile accounts
* Prepare trial balance of books
* Post journal entries
* Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
* Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
* Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
* Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
* Prepare individual and corporate tax returns
* Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
* Manage cash flow
* Pay some bills
* Collect rents on our rentals
* Other tasks as assigned

To be successful in this role, you have experience with hands-on full cycle bookkeeping using Simply Accounting.

This is a hands-on role that will require data entry and follow up with clients on information requests and organize information received from clients.

Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience of Simply Accounting Online/Desktop.

Job Type: Part-time or Contractor Position

Salary: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
