A great thing about AC/Yam 153" & 162" suspensions is that they're very lightweight. An unfortunate problem is also that they're very lightweight. There is a weak spot in the top of the rail just in front of the rear axle that tends to bend to the side. When it does, there is almost no support to keep the rail from bending upward. This can cause the rail to fold in very dramatic fashion. Our new rail brace kit fits in to the openings in the rail, sandwiching the weak area with 6061 aluminum braces. Install is quick and easy and can help you avoid the time and expense of rail replacement.
