Wildland fire conditions can change quickly during the season. Understanding the difference between a Fire Advisory, Fire Restriction, and Fire Ban helps keep our communities, forests, and firefighters safe.

🟡 Fire Advisory
Conditions are becoming drier and wildfire risk is increasing. Use extra caution with any open flame or outdoor burning activity.

🟠 Fire Restriction
Certain activities and types of burning are limited. This may include campfires, fireworks, burn barrels, or off-road activities in high-risk areas.

🔴 Fire Ban
All open burning and campfires are prohibited due to extreme wildfire danger. These measures are put in place to protect lives, property, and natural areas.

✔ Check current conditions before lighting any fire
✔ Never leave a fire unattended
✔ Ensure fires are fully extinguished
✔ Report wildfires immediately
