I used to get so caught up in the “New Year, new me” mindset—setting goals, purging holiday foods, shaming myself for being “off track.” But I’ve realized those all-or-nothing approaches rarely last.
Resolutions fade, and change is HARD
I’m not saying you shouldn’t have goals, and the start of a new year can feel like a fresh start. But the METHODS we use and the PRESSURE we put on ourselves to change overnight often set us up for failure.
You don’t NEED a cleanse or a reset (unless you understand doing so is not a long-term solution). And you don’t need to feel guilty if your January 1st changes don’t last untill February.
Change takes time because habits take time. You didn’t where you are now overnight, so let go of the expectation that you can change overnight.
Instead of choosing 10 things to change tomorrow, start with one. Track it (every important!!!), stick with it for a week, and when you’re ready, add another.
And if you’re feeling stuck or don’t know where to start—I’m here. I offer coaching options tailored to your unique needs and budget.
Send me a DM, and let’s create a plan to get you closer to your 2025 goals 💫
