Known as the Seven Sisters, this small gathering of stars (bottom left) has been watched and named for thousands of years. Nearby, Capella shines as one of the brightest beacons in the northern sky.

In ancient stories, they were sisters placed in the heavens for protection —
their light a quiet act of remembrance,
their closeness a promise of belonging.

Look long enough, and you begin to understand why humans have always searched the stars for meaning.

Cold air holds light differently—turning winter mornings into something sacred.

For a brief moment, the sun rises and the sky answers with a pillar of light, reminding us that even the cold knows how to hold beauty.
