A new change at Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa has been getting a lot of attention.

Hyatt has introduced an option that allows guests to reserve select pool loungers in advance through the resort app for an additional fee.

It's certainly sparked some discussion, and I can see both perspectives.

On one hand, having a guaranteed spot by the pool means you can enjoy a relaxed morning, have breakfast at your own pace, and avoid the early rush to claim a chair.

On the other hand, many travellers feel that pool loungers should remain first come, first served, especially at an all-inclusive resort.

It's worth noting that this is an optional service. Guests who choose not to reserve a lounger can still use any available unreserved chairs at no extra cost.

Vietnam is one of those destinations that truly has it all.
