South Africa today commemorated Freedom Day, marking thirty-two years since the country’s first democratic elections in 1994. The national event was held at the Dr Rantlai Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein, where President Cyril Ramaphosa led the proceedings under the theme “Freedom and the Rule of Law: Thirty Years of Democratic Citizenship.”
