God still speaks

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still.”
Exodus 14:14 ⚔️

This verse is often quoted as a reminder for believers to stay calm when facing difficult situations.

However, if you read the very next line, God questions Moses for saying that, because He actually wanted the people to move forward—even though they had no idea He was about to part the sea.
That required real faith, because they were literally walking toward water with no visible solution.

Sometimes God will tell you to be still, but other times He will instruct you to take action. The only way to know what He’s asking of you is through a personal relationship with Him.

So pay attention to His specific direction for your life, because we’re all in different seasons.

David once said, “My cup runs over.” Normally, when you pour water into a glass, you stop once it reaches the brim because the container can only hold so much. But God doesn’t operate by human limits. He is not restricted by the size of your cup or your ability to contain what He wants to release into your life. When God pours out His blessings, He is not measuring them based on your capacity to receive, but on His unlimited power to give.

You may feel like your faith is small, your dreams are small, and your expectations are limited, but that does not limit God. If blessings only came according to how much we believed or how prepared we felt, we would miss out on the fullness of what God can do. That is why Ephesians 3:20 reminds us that God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we can ask, think, or imagine. God doesn’t stop at the top of your cup.

Even if what you have feels little, He keeps pouring until your life overflows with a blessing that cannot be contained.

NOT ALL PASTORS ARE FATHERS.

Title does not make you a father.
Anointing does not make you a father.
Crowd does not make you a father.
A pulpit does not make you a father.

They know how to preach to you, but they don’t know how to stand with you and carry burdens

A father covers you.
A father corrects you.
A father defends you when you are weak.
A father does not use you, drain you, and abandon you when trouble comes.

A true father may rebuke you, but he will never disgrace you.
A true father may correct you, but he will not destroy you.
A true father does not run when you enter storms. He stands with you inside it.

This is the bitter truth.
Many people don’t lack pastors. They lack fathers.
And many pastors don’t want sons. They want loyal followers who will fund their lifestyle and keep quiet.

Open your eyes.
Respect the office, but discern the heart.

WHO IS YOUR FATHER AND MENTOR

Elijah was hungry. Really hungry. Not the kind you pray away but the kind you feel in your body. And while he was there by the brook, no noise, no crowd, no drama, he looked up… and something was coming toward him. A raven. And not just flying around. It was coming with purpose. And in its mouth: meat.

Now let that sink in. Ravens don't bring food. Ravens take food. If there is meat, the raven is usually the problem, not the solution. Yet this one ignored its appetite and obeyed a command higher than instinct. Because when God decides to step in, He doesn't argue with nature: He overrides it.

God did not send Elijah to a marketplace. He simply spoke to a bird and said, "Carry what you normally eat." And the raven did it. Dropped the food. Flew away. Almost as if God was saying, "Don't overthink it. Just eat."

And you can almost see Elijah staring at that meat like… "So this is how You are doing it huh?" And heaven smiling back. Because God likes to provide in ways that leave no room for pride... only gratitude and laughter.

This is the side of God you are about to see. The God who doesn't need willing people: He creates willing vessels. The God who can use what usually ignores you, what usually competes with you, what usually takes from you, and turn it into provision for you.

And this is your word. Help is coming, but it won't arrive dressed the way you expect. It may come from someone you never thought would care. It may come through a door you didn't even knock on. And when it does, you will laugh, not because its funny, but because it's unmistakably God.

You won't struggle for it. You will receive it. And when you do... you will remember this moment: the moment God showed you He can command ravens.

1 Kings 17:4;
For the Lord has commanded the ravens to feed you there.
