GOD does not abandon us when we need HIM the most. In our deepest pain and sorrow, HE draws near, comforts us, and walks with us through every season. But oftentimes, we allow our sorrows to pull us away instead of drawing us closer to HIM. We become overwhelmed by our grief and can find ourselves sinking into despair and hopelessness. The GOD who collects our every tear is the GOD we can trust to comfort us, strengthen us, and bring healing to our hearts. Are we allowing our sorrows and struggles to draw us closer to GOD or pull us away from HIM?🙏🏽

When we are not seeking the approval of GOD, we will often find ourselves chasing the approval of people. A life that is not surrendered to GOD can become caught up on being seen, accepted, and celebrated by others instead of pleasing HIM. The day will come when we will not answer to people, but we will stand before GOD, the Righteous Judge, to give an account of how we lived. Human opinions, applause, recognition, and worldly success will not matter on that day. Are we making every effort to live a life that is pleasing, faithful, and approved before GOD? Are we doing our best to live in a way that honors HIM? 🙏🏽PRAISE-POWER

Self-deception happens when we hear the Truth but think, speak and act as though we have not heard it. Self-deception is when our minds are informed, but our lives are NOT transformed. The Truth of GOD’S Word is intended to change us. GOD is looking for doers of the Word. Not self-deceivers. King Saul was a self-deceiver and a people pleaser. Many seek to be saved, but not sanctified. Some Christians are only focused on making it to heaven. But the life of a believer is a call to be changed into the likeness of CHRIST each day. We are saved not only to be forgiven, but to be transformed. Are we surrendering to sanctification or resisting it? 🙏🏽

Do we ever stop to think about what is really influencing our prayers and desires? We may believe that we are praying with good intentions, but GOD sees beyond our words and examines our hearts. Our prayer motives can be wrong, misguided, selfish, impure, unjust, and sinful, and this can result in our prayers going unanswered. The solution is to ask GOD to search and cleanse our hearts so that our motives align with HIS will. 🙏🏽 PRAISE-POWER
