📘 Our 2025 Annual Country Report is out!

In 2025, WFP helped communities across Bangladesh prepare for, respond to, and recover from climate shocks, strengthening resilience in some of the country’s most disaster prone areas.

In Cox’s Bazar, WFP delivered anticipatory cash assistance to vulnerable families ahead of flooding, enabling them to purchase food and essential items as well as protect their homes and livelihoods before floods hit.

Following urban fire incidents in Dhaka’s Korail slum, WFP provided immediate emergency food assistance and hygiene messaging to affected families, supporting rapid response efforts led by national and local authorities.

In disaster prone communities in coastal and riverine districts in Sylhet, Khulna, Rangpur, and Chattogram, WFP supported communities through disaster risk reduction programmes, including the rehabilitation of roads, embankments and other key community infrastructure as well as supported vulnerable households with income generating opportunities.

২০২৫ সালে, ডব্লিউএফপি বাংলাদেশ জুড়ে বিভিন্ন জনগোষ্ঠীকে জলবায়ুগত অভিঘাতের জন্য প্রস্তুতি নিতে, তা মোকাবিলা করতে এবং তা থেকে পুনরুদ্ধারে সহায়তা করেছে, যা দেশের সবচেয়ে দুর্যোগপ্রবণ এলাকাগুলোর কয়েকটিতে তাদের সহনশীলতাকে শক্তিশালী করেছে।

কক্সবাজারে, ডব্লিউএফপি বন্যার আগেই ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ পরিবারগুলোকে আগাম নগদ সহায়তা প্রদান করেছে, যা তাদের বন্যার আগেই খাদ্য ও নিত্যপ্রয়োজনীয় জিনিসপত্র কেনার পাশাপাশি নিজেদের বাড়িঘর ও জীবিকা রক্ষা করতে সক্ষম করেছে।

ঢাকার কোরাইল বস্তিতে অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনার পর, ডব্লিউএফপি ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত পরিবারগুলোকে তাৎক্ষণিক জরুরি খাদ্য সহায়তা এবং স্বাস্থ্যবিধি সংক্রান্ত বার্তা প্রদান করেছে, যা জাতীয় ও স্থানীয় কর্তৃপক্ষের নেতৃত্বাধীন দ্রুত প্রতিক্রিয়া প্রচেষ্টাকে সমর্থন করেছে।

সিলেট, খুলনা, রংপুর এবং চট্টগ্রামের উপকূলীয় ও নদী তীরবর্তী জেলাগুলোর দুর্যোগপ্রবণ এলাকাগুলোতে, ডব্লিউএফপি দুর্যোগ ঝুঁকি হ্রাস কর্মসূচির মাধ্যমে জনগোষ্ঠীকে সহায়তা করেছে। এর মধ্যে রয়েছে রাস্তা, বাঁধ এবং অন্যান্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সামাজিক অবকাঠামোর পুনর্বাসন এবং ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ পরিবারগুলোকে আয়বর্ধক সুযোগ তৈরিতে সহায়তা করা।

📘 Our 2025 Annual Country Report is out!

In 2025, despite global funding constraints, WFP maintained lifesaving assistance for nearly 1.2 million Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.

This included monthly food assistance to all Rohingya families, now 1.2 million people, delivered through e-vouchers, allowing families to choose freely from a variety of dry and fresh food items at WFP's food assistance outlets.

During emergencies such as fires, floods, and landslides, we also provided ready-to-eat high-energy biscuits and hot meals to meet urgent needs.

📘 আমাদের ২০২৫ সালের বার্ষিক কান্ট্রি রিপোর্ট প্রকাশিত হয়েছে!

২০২৫ সালে, বৈশ্বিক তহবিল সীমাবদ্ধতা সত্ত্বেও, বিশ্ব খাদ্য কর্মসূচি (WFP) বাংলাদেশে প্রায় ১২ লক্ষ রোহিঙ্গা শরণার্থীর জন্য জীবন রক্ষাকারী সহায়তা অব্যাহত রেখেছে।

র মধ্যে অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল সকল রোহিঙ্গা পরিবারের জন্য মাসিক খাদ্য সহায়তা, যা ই-ভাউচারের মাধ্যমে সরবরাহ করা হতো। এর ফলে পরিবারগুলো কক্সবাজার ও ভাসান চরের ক্যাম্পজুড়ে অবস্থিত ডব্লিউএফপি-র ই-ভাউচার আউটলেটগুলো থেকে বিভিন্ন ধরনের শুকনো ও তাজা খাদ্যদ্রব্য নিজেদের পছন্দমতো বেছে নিতে পারেন।

আগুন, বন্যা এবং ভূমিধসের মতো জরুরি পরিস্থিতিতে, বিশ্ব খাদ্য কর্মসূচি জরুরি চাহিদা মেটাতে সহজে খাওয়ার উপযোগী উচ্চ-শক্তি সম্পন্ন বিস্কুট এবং গরম খাবারও সরবরাহ করেছে।
