Ananda Basanta has taken first ever initiative for preservation and expansion of the indigenous products. It feels that despite of a small country, Bangladesh is rich in traditional heritages. But, nowadays traditional heritages are on the verge of extinction. Hence, in order to promote the indigenous arts, crafts, embroidered works; Ananda Basanta has been running the showroom as display & sales center. The showroom is being run in full swing as social business. The local producers and small entrepreneurs are mobilized and encouraged to keep their cottage industries. The sale price of the products is determined considering the capacity of the consumers.
