Residence of Geoffrey Bawa, aka “Number 11”

Four row houses stitched together seamlessly by Bawa. He gradually acquired it and stitched it with his own design language. His signature tropical modernism can be seen here too. Recycled wood logs, planks to columns and beams, old antique furniture, and what not. It feels like every piece has its own way of storytelling. When Bawa designs a space, the space talks to everyone by itself.

As I’m more into exploring architectural spaces, making 3D models of the same spaces with every possible detail makes me act like an excited kid who recently found a toy. Happy with the render results.

Workflow was my usual routine workflow, where I find proper images to model then model it in sketchup, blender.

Textures were mostly from Quixel. Some were custom made and some were made by D5 Render Ai.

The prepared 3D model was taken to D5 Render 2.11 to give it the realistic look.

Finally the clips which came out was stitched in after effects with a lil mix of Dehancer film emulation.

Assets were taken from warehouse, cgtips, Quixel, sketchfab.

Happy that I could pull this off and continue the Bawa series.
