During this ongoing heatwave, rising temperatures are posing serious risks to public health across the country.

Stay hydrated, wear light and protective clothing, avoid outdoor activities during peak hours (11 AM–4 PM), and rest in cool or shaded spaces. Early recognition of heat exhaustion and heat stroke along with timely response can save lives.

Let’s remain alert, act responsibly, and protect our communities during this extreme heat.

A new year to act with purpose, compassion, and responsibility.

Every year, the New Year begins with the same troubling headlines - children injured or critically harmed due to fireworks, firecrackers, and sky lanterns.
These are not isolated incidents. They recur year after year, highlighting a preventable public safety issue that disproportionately affects children. While celebrations last only moments, the consequences like physical injury, trauma, and sometimes loss of life can be permanent.

As another 31st night approaches, this is an opportunity to break the cycle through awareness, responsibility, and enforcement.
Celebration should never come at the cost of a child’s safety.
This New Year’s Eve, let's choose safety over sparks.
