The business community met with BNP Acting Chairperson Tarique Rahman earlier today to offer their condolences on the passing of Former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. Former Commerce Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury was also present during the meeting.

The country has lost a guardian at a time so critical for millions. Begum Khaleda Zia has endured personal loss, prolonged political struggle, imprisonment, and ill health, yet remained steadfast in her commitment to democracy, national sovereignty, and the rights of the people.

May her contributions and endurance continue to inspire future generations, and may Allah Subhaana Wa Ta’ala grant her Jannatul Firdaus.
