✨ Affirmative to Negative Transformation ( Part-1✨

ইংরেজি ব্যাকরণে Affirmative বাক্যকে Negative এ রূপান্তর করার জন্য কিছু নির্দিষ্ট নিয়ম আছে। নিচে ১২টি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নিয়ম দেওয়া হলো:

✅ Rule 1: Only / Alone → None but
He can play good cricket. → None but he can play good cricket.
He is only four. → He is not more than four.

✅ Rule 2: Must → Cannot but / Cannot help + Verb+ing
We must obey our parents. → We cannot but obey our parents.
You must care them. → You cannot help caring them.
✅ Rule 3: Every → There is no ... but

Everyone hates a terrorist. → There is no one but hates a terrorist.
Everybody fears a lion. → There is nobody but fears a lion.

✅ Rule 4: As soon as → No sooner ... than

As soon as he saw the tiger, he ran away. → No sooner had he seen the tiger than he ran away.

✅ Rule 5: Positive word → Negative form

He is a good man. → He is not a bad man.

Rakib is an honest boy. → Rakib is not a dishonest boy.
✅ Rule 6: Always → Never

He was always punctual. → He was never late.

I always tell the truth. → I never tell a lie.

✅ Rule 7: Superlative → No other ... as + Positive form + as ...

He is the best batsman in the team. → No other batsman in the team is as good as him.

You are the best boy in the class. → No other boy in the class is as good as you.

✅ Rule 8: Comparative (than any/all other) → No other ... as + Positive form + as ...

He is better than any other boy in the class. → No other boy in the class is as good as him.

Dhaka is bigger than all other cities in Bangladesh. → No other city in Bangladesh is as big as Dhaka.

✅ Rule 9: Comparative (than) → Not as/so ... as ...

He is stronger than you. → You are not as strong as him.

I am taller than you. → You are not as tall as me.

✅ Rule 10: As ... as → Not less ... than

He is as good as you. → He is not less good than you.

Robi and Rahat were as strong as Rakib. → Robi and Rahat were not less strong than Rakib.

✅ Rule 11: Less ... than → Not as ... as

He is less ugly than you said. → He is not as ugly as you said.

You are less good than he said. → You are not as good as he said.

✅ Rule 12: Too ... to → So ... that ... cannot/could not ...

He is too weak to walk. → He is so weak that he cannot walk.

The sum was too difficult for me to work out. → The sum was so difficult for me that I could not work it out.
এভাবে নিয়মগুলো মনে রাখলে Transformation of Sentences খুব সহজ হয়ে যাবে।
