On April 30, 2015, during the Chattogram City Corporation election, I was at a voting center in my area, Agrabad, Chittagong, as a polling agent. What happened that day during the vote deeply inspired me. After coming home, I wrote and composed the song “Gonotantrer Ghuri” (The Kite of Democracy).

After 11 years, I never thought this song would receive an award like this.
